Boyd Coddington Has Died
Thu, 02/28/2008 - 04:01 — R.J. Lorimer
Boyd Coddington (whom many people know from American Hot Rod) has died at age 63.
Boyd was a very influential member of the custom car/hot-rod industry in America, and it’s sad to see him go.
Holley Files for Bankrupcy
Thu, 02/14/2008 - 05:06 — R.J. Lorimer
In a personally unexpected, but not-suprising-if-you-think-about-it announcement, Holley has filed for bankruptcy (the company with a name synonymous with carburetor for so many years).
Hopefully this cornerstone of the aftermarket automotive industry will be able to turn things around as the decade winds down.

...And Then There Was a Crunching Sound
Tue, 05/08/2007 - 02:50 — R.J. LorimerI had the pleasure of rear-ending somebody today. This is my first wreck since I got my driver’s license (amazingly), and as with all wrecks it totally sucked.
My Fiancé has always worried about me because I drive a small car (a ‘99 Honda Prelude) - ironically I ran into a car markedly smaller than mine (a Chevy Aveo), and in a 10-15 mile an hour wreck my car came away almost dent-less, and the Aveo looks like it was abused by a prison roommate.
Ford + F350 + Defect + Biodiesel = A Convenient Excuse
Thu, 05/03/2007 - 01:09 — R.J. LorimerI just ran across this article on Digg: “I blew up my 2008 F350 on bio-diesel”.
Not only is this a very intriguing article from an automotive enthusiast standpoint, but it also has environmental impacts, and also involves a problem all-to-often central in American auto-manufacturers.
